Think it'll be an early spring?

Met up with Will (the Frenchman) and Paul this morning (Richard slept in the slacker!). Paul is doing Gold Coast in two weeks, so was just out for a trundle. Will and I were keen for 80-90k.

Will got a flat at 12k mark and after 45 mins and a 1/10 for tube changing abilities (the 1 was for his CO2 cannister) we were away again. Paul let us go at Church Point, as we entered the hills. Whilst things were a little easier than last week, Will still kept me honest as he is quite strong in the hills.

Got to West Head (38k) in 1:36, where last week it was 1:33. The way home felt much easier than last week. We were feling pretty good so decided to do a loop of North Head to make it over 90k.

All up 91k in 3:46 @ 24.1 (146) - compare that with last week:
80k in 3:16 @24.6 (154)

Great fun day, and awesome spring weather. Left 7am and returned home at 12 - a long day out!

With Fridays 14k in 71:31 @ 5:06 (155) and a rest day yesterday (Kitchen shopping), the weekly stats were: 30k running (71%), 151k cycling (84%) and 3.7k swimming (97%). 10 sessions in 10 hours 22 mins. And that was with 2 rest days!

Easy week this week before hopefully bumping it up again to 100% weeks for the final block.
