Secondly, a 15 sec corp cup PB today of 23:30 - yippee. Very satisfying to run this fast as I believed that I had been running pretty well lately. First k was hard and I was 3 secs behind the plan. Started to feel really good in th 4th k and was surprised to be 8 secs up after 5k as the legs were feeling very heavy. Splits were (vs plan):
1) 3:43 (+3)
2) 3:48 7:31 (+1)
3) 4:15 11:46 (+1)
4) 3:50 15:36 (-4)
5) 4:16 19:52 (-8)
6) 3:37 23:29 (-6)
Below is my run on Saturday. I filled in the gaps after my batteries ran out on Sportstracks - just shy of 20k. You can see where I had to turn back on the left.
This is the first time I have tried to do this. Anyone know how I crop/zoom it better? Jen, if you have a close look at Martin's lookout (almost the furthest southern point), you can see I went the long way around, but you can go the shorter way which is much steeper.

awesome run mate - keep doing that and you may get promoted again ;)
Dear Hamburgler,
My husband just sent me a link to your blog to demonstrate how un-supportive I am to him as a wife, and that he should be able to go on long runs even when it is our anniversary because Mrs Hamburgler lets Hamburgler go on long runs on their anniversary.....
I say "poo to you" and I am sure that Junior Burger won't get any little brothers or sisters any time soon at this rate!
Regards, Mrs Sub-50
I can't beleive that she called Cheeseburger, Junior Burger...sorry!
I am extremely sorry Mrs Sub 50 that Mr Sub 50 used my blog in this way. As I said, I apologised greatly to Mrs Hamburglar and it will never happen again.
Anyway, can Sub 50 come out to play soon?
What I do, is 'export' to Google Earth, then zoom the image of the run until it fills the screen (you can also tilt it if you want to show the hills/horizon... then 'save image' as XXX.jpg
