Looking over my running diary, other than races (Cities Marathon, City to Surf and 60k Northern Beaches Fat Ass) I hadn't done a run over 10k since 8 July - over two month since a long easy run - quite a surprise.
Therefore I was quite interested to see how I would go today. The answer was pretty good. The whole run felt a little weird in the legs and I am pretty sure this is due to the cycling. They just seemed heavy, however the pace and HR were fine.
I looped up to Seaforth, through Fairlight and Manly to Dee Why and back home. 23k in 1:57 @ 5:10 (154).
So, for the week:
6k swimming (158%), 110k cycling (61%) and 33k running (79%). Pretty good week and as can be seen I am focusing on the swimming to give me some confidence. All up there was 9 hours and 56 mins training in 8 sessions including thursday as a rest day.
I also realised that I have stupidly double booked the Sydney Running Festival weekend. I had organised ages ago to visit the relos in Albury on that weekend and didn't check the running calander - and I have already entered the half. I am really bummed as I wanted to be there to support inhisshadow in his first marathon.
Tommorow sees training for the fourth leg of the traiathlon (not what you are thinking miners!) - golf. Got the day off work an am playing with the old man at Castle Hill.

Nice long run HB - have fun out on the golf course.
You could always fly the relos up to Sydney!
Isn't gold the original tri? Walk, hit balls, drink?
That was supposed to be golf!
