A solid week

After a late one last night, I slept in and missed the STAR this morning which meant it was a long run by myself. Made my way to Mona Vale and back for just over 30k at 5:40 pace. The pace was a bit disappointing, however I am blaming last nights beers.

So the total for the week was 82k. The week panned out with no cycling wich was a little disappointing after last weeks long ride, however it gave me the opportunity to have a big week of running. If I can keep these k's up as work gets a bit busier, it should see a successful sixfoot.

Just on sixfoot it was interesting to read some of the reports from recent training runs. Those hills seem tough! I would love to go up for a few training runs however it would just take too long from Manly. I'll just have to find out how big they really are on the day.

Other news is that we booked our week holiday in February at Port Macquarie which should be just fantastic. Here is a picture... I can't wait.

Ah, I recognise that photo! That's the apartment right opposite Flynns Beach - had a friend come up and stay there with her kids in late November and they had a great time!

Happy new year to you mate, and good to see the goals for 07 falling into place. The "consitency" goal is one that all of us could aspire to I think. So what dates are you looking at coming up here for Feb? We'll have to get out for some runs, and some rides if the bike's allowed to come up with you :)
