It would be good to have 4 days off every weekend, but alas...
4 days means you can do some training, do some chores, hang out with your family, see friends, stay up late - plenty of time for everything!
Apart from Striders 10k, all I did On Sat/Sun was a 2k swim and it was nice to be around a bit more - and not tired from training. The swim was good and small steps of progress are being made. I have heard people say that you shouldn't swim too much in the wetsuit as it gives you bad habits. I, however, have found the opposite in my two wetsuit swims so far. Swimming in the wetsuit gives you some sensations of how it SHOULD feel which you can take back to the pool. Yesterday's 500m splits (without wetsuit) were 10:45, 10:55, 10:55 and 11:15. Now, I haven't ever done sub 11 mins, so to do three was pleasing. All up 2k in 46:45.
Today was another trip to West Head on the bike. Luckily didn't get wet, but the wind was a shocker. Was cruising at 40k/h on the way down to Narrabeen, but was struggling to hold on to 20k/h on the way back. All up 74k in 3:02 @ 24.3 (147).
So a good 4 days, bit of training but feeling a little refreshed as well. Was close to an Ironman in training last week, but couldn't be stuffed on Sun arvo!
Weekly stats:

Yes, if you had four-day weekends every week you could become a half decent triathlete ;)
